I wonder if the card has any additional powers - maybe she can join any two "things", which might come in handy (especially if the bond really is unbreakable by any means besides that one card), although it would be rather situational. Or she might have powers over the bond between two people beyond just what we've seen. Chances are, she hasn't really experimented that much with her card.

I'm starting to get a theme here but correct me if i'm wrong or if this was common knowledge or something:
Heart cards give physical abilities
Clubs cards give control abilities
Spade cards give items
Diamond cards give condition abilities

The theming I get is that Heart gives you control over your own body (healing injuries, multiplying, increasing body mass), Clubs give control over natural elements (plants, fire, wind, etc.), Spades give items, as you say (so far they're all weapons, but we'll see), and Diamonds vary wildly with no set theme (joining two people, turning matter into marbles, turning money into objects; good luck... and the five of diamonds seems to be movement based, judging by its design).
